2. How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage accounts, display agent and service provider profiles, support requests and assignments, enable messaging, record developer opportunity interest submissions, support service provider referrals, send operational notifications, improve app performance, prevent fraud or abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Licensing And Professional Information
Users may voluntarily provide licensing information, brokerage information, credentials, certifications, experience, references, and professional profile details.
OpenHousePro does not independently verify, certify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any licensing information, brokerage affiliation, credentials, certifications, experience, references, or professional qualifications submitted by users.
Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any business relationship.
4. Sharing Of Information
We may share limited profile, request, assignment, referral, developer opportunity, and message-related information with users who are involved in the same collaboration workflow. We may also share information with service providers that host, secure, email, analyze, or support the Platform, and with regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required by law.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Developer Opportunities And Incentives
When a user expresses interest in a Developer Opportunity or Developer Incentive, the user's contact information may be shared with the applicable developer for follow-up purposes. This may include name, email address, phone number, role, brokerage information, city, and other relevant profile details.
OpenHousePro does not control how developers evaluate, select, contact, or engage interested users.
6. Service Provider Referrals
Information may be shared between participating users for service provider referral purposes, including requesting agent details, referring agent details, service category, provider contact details, referral notes, and related messages or reviews.
OpenHousePro does not endorse, certify, guarantee, or warrant any service provider listed, referred, recommended, contacted, or reviewed through the Platform.
7. Communications And Notification Preferences
Users may receive Agent Request Notifications, Service Request Notifications, Developer Opportunity and Incentive Notifications, platform announcements, account notifications, legal notices, security alerts, password reset emails, support communications, in-app messages, email notifications, and push notifications.
Users may manage communication preferences within their account settings where applicable, including preferences for Agent Request and Service Request Notifications, Developer Opportunity and Incentive Notifications, and Platform Announcements and Updates.
Certain account, legal, security, transactional, and operational notifications may still be delivered when necessary for platform operation, account safety, compliance, or service delivery.
Commercial electronic messages will include consent and unsubscribe controls where required by Canadian anti-spam law.
8. Data Storage And Security
Information may be stored on secure cloud infrastructure in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet or mobile service can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for keeping account, profile, brokerage, licence, phone, email, city, role, and notification preference information accurate and current. Profile information may be visible to collaboration partners inside OpenHousePro when needed to support requests, assignments, referrals, messaging, developer opportunities, and professional coordination.
10. Verification And Independent Sources
It is your responsibility to verify the identity, credentials, licensing status, insurance coverage, brokerage affiliation, contact information, professional qualifications, and authority of all parties through official and independent sources before engaging in any transaction, referral, service relationship, developer opportunity, or collaboration.
OpenHousePro may display user-submitted profile and contact information, but it does not replace official sources such as BCFSA, MLS, Realtor.ca, brokerage records, regulator records, insurance documentation, or direct professional verification.
11. Data Retention And Deletion
Information is retained only as long as necessary for account operation, collaboration history, legal compliance, security, accounting, audit, analytics, notification delivery, and dispute resolution purposes. Some records may be retained after account closure where required for legal, security, audit, business, or dispute resolution reasons.
12. Your Rights
Users may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent where applicable under Canadian privacy law. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, audit, notification, operational, or dispute-resolution requirements.
